You can also e-mail the file as a pdf attachment. and view it there.

I've used AirSharing, but it's a royal pain to try to view book pages on the iPod Touch screen.

I suggest that the 99 cents you spend on this program will be one of your better investments. It's great for books, manuals and has a very good PDF streamer so you can read any text.

I also use it for my Dragon age guide book. I use it in conjunction with Iphone explorer...

If you use DropBox, you can use DropBox on your iPod to view files (PDF, Word, Excel, etc). Simply put the needed files in your DropBox folder on your computer, and then open it up on you iPod (while connected to WiFi). If you mark a file as a "favorite" it will stay on your iPod whether or not internet is available.

I use "GoodReader" .They have a free lite version to try before buying the $.99 unlimited version.
