Help - Safari Won't Let Me Log Into My School Site

ok for some reason safari won't let me log into my universities email. when i type in my user name and password and hit enter it clears the user name and password and the site says incorrect user name/password.

i can log in perfectly using google chrome but to be honest i like using safari better.

can anyone help me fix this please?

What Safari and Mac OS X version do you use?

Can it be, that your school enabled or disabled some functionality, that might trigger Safari not being able to access your mail? Maybe contact the school network administrators.

newest version of osx, newest version of safari. and no because my room mate can get on with his safari.

This is going to sound odd, but try clicking the "Log In" or similar button on-screen rather than using the Return key. One of the sites I use at work requires me to do that.

got it to work. i just reinstalled safari. mods can delete this post
