How do you add your own keyboard shortcuts?

I am tired of having to go to the menu to arrange the icons neatly by name.
I want to make a shortcut for it but I simply do not know how to do it !

I'm not quite sure what you mean. If you mean icons in the finder, I don't think it's an option anywhere. Maybe you could rig something up as a service or something. You may consider going to "View Options" in the View menu and using the keep arranged by name option.

I guess i'll just make it column view all the time... ;)
