TechTool - worth running?

Just received my AppleCare pack for my MacBook, and wondering if running TechTool Deluxe will bring any benefits? I'm usually of the school of thought that says "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". MacBook is running fine and has no issues, so would TechTool be a complete waste of time, even running as a diagnostic tool?

Just run disk utility and check your hard drive same thing.

I don't know how much TechTool has changed but the last time I saw it was way back in OS 8, I think, and it did nothing for me.

In my opinion, the only disk utilities worth anything are Apple's built-in Disk Utility and Disk Warrior.
