Meanwhile while waiting for my 2.5 G5.... I bought a cheap HP to do some video work that my G3 b/w was not up to.... anyone use WinDVD Creator 2? I could use some input as to how good or crappy it is... I think it is crappy now but I once thought it good....
Here's the scoop....
I used WinDVD Creator to make a DVD slide show and it was cool and easy that my protoype movie from my vacation was worth making better - so I paid the $40 to upgrade from Silver to Platnium - and now no matter what I try my TV's DVD players both high end - no longer recognize the DVD movies. Worked FINE on the ;free; version....
HOWEVER - the movies I spent hours making play PERFECTLY on THEIR and ONLY THEIR WinDVD Player.... This makes me more mad as I have like three players - and I refuse to pay for a 4th.... (not to mention the PLATNIUM version crashes alot and the silver did not) Plus I would not wnat to make a movie to watch on my computer... my big TV is for that....
I can't seem to go back to the free 'silver version' so this is either a cry for help - or a warning to not give 1 cent of your money to intervideo.
Anyone have ANY LUCK making a DVD for the TV with WinDVD creator 2 Platnium?
