I'm getting the new Canon T2i camera very soon. It's supposed to be retail released in Mid March (which means next week hopefully).

Canon supports the new SDXC format. SDXC was introduced in 2009 and it's supposed to be the replacement to SDHC. Supposed to be much higher read speeds.

So does the iMac support the SDXC cards? And is anyone using it currently?

It doesn't seem that way: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2351677&tstart=0&messageID=11152978#11152978

That sucks. May have to get external card adapter.

Maybe windows 7 with bootcamp will support it?

The point of this thread was the iMac's capability of being able to read SDXC cards via its built-in SD-card reader.

Using an external card reader or the camera, both connected via USB, was the solution to the iMac's disability to read SDXC cards via its built-in SD-card reader.

Thus my wondering, why you have posted, unless you wanted to ask a question. But your post seems to indicate another solution I guess, especially when working with SD cards, which are NOT SDXC cards by the way.
