Hi friends,

I have a flip video cam (I think it's this one, the non-HD version), and I'd like to charge it in my MacBook's USB port. Or I could also charge it in my iPhone power adapter. Will that work? No light goes on to indicate that it is charging.

The batteries inside are two removable, rechargable duracell batteries.

Websites seem to have conflicting information - does anyone have personal experience charging their flipcams in this way? Thanks! :)

yep flips can charge in the usb, I do that all the time, there is no light.

but also you can get portable chargers like the gomadic so you can still charge when away from your laptop
