Hey so I have a iPod Touch 2Gen 16GB and I was just wondering is there a application that allows me to navigate more easily? Is there a GPS application? Cause all I've found in the App Store are GPS applications for the iPhone because they have 3G and not iPod Touch because oly Wi-Fi works.

So basically is there a more advanced "Google Map" Application? Like a application that just works better and more like a GPS?

Thank you:D!

GPS stands for global positioning satellites. You must have a GPS receiver/antenna for that which only the iPhone 3G has. Asking if your iTouch can do GPS is the same as asking if it will pick up OTA or cable TV stations.

IIRC, you can buy a hardware dongle that will provide a gps signal.

Tom Tom app has dongle for iPod + iPhone for GPS signal. with apps and dongle it will cost you a bit more than a stand alone Tom Tom Gps.

Right! You can buy a quite good stand alone GPS for less than $150, so why mess around with a dongle that may or may not work well.
