So I just installed Windows 7 via bootcamp on my 27" iMac so I could play TF2 until steam gets ported :D

Everything went smooth, I formatted the drive with the bootcamp assistant and then reformatted the partition during the windows 7 install.

I deleted the existing ati driver and fixed the black screen problem.

Windows 7 and OSX run fine once I boot into them, however I am having a couple problems

Win 7 is now the default boot OS

I have to hold down the option key and select the OSX partition in order to boot into OSX.

That is all fine and dandy (not sure that's how its supposed to work though),
but for whatever reason it takes FOREVER for the boot prompt to come up with the option key.

It worked perfect beforehand, took about 5 seconds. Now it takes WELL over a minute.

so are you supposed to have to hold the option key every time you restart or turn on the iMac?

Is Windows supposed to boot by default?

and last but not least why the hell does it take SO long to give me a boot prompt with the option key after I installed Win 7???
