Tomorrow is my wedding!

Hi everybody,

I just want everyone who's interested to know. Tomorrow, we will go to the civil registry office (right?) and on Saturday, we will go to the church and have a big party afterwards.

We've been together for three and a half years now and I know that she's the right one for me.

Keep your fingers crossed that everything goes well (not that I doubt it)...

One word of advice: BREAKFAST!!!

Have breakfast the morning of the ceremony. A good, hearty breakfast. Trust me, you'll need it. I got married a few months ago, and I really wish I had had breakfast.

Don't be nervous. Everyone will be looking at her, people will barely notice you. As long as you don't pass-out or toss your cookies you'll do fine. The wedding is the easy part, the marrage is the tought part.

Actually, there won't be a very special honeymoon. We're planning to go to Sylt (an island west of Northern Germany in case you don't know) for a week, but that's all, nothing spectacular. At least it seems, we will have some good weather which isn't common here for September.

Sylt is really nice ! Where are you staying there ? Westerland ? I have been to St.Peter Ording last year in October together with my wife. We rented a small apartment there and had a wonderful time.

You will like it.

Well, everything was great yesterday and now we're officially married. But the big task is still coming tomorrow. And we had our first bad news: the photographer we hired is in hospital, so we have to find someone else until tomorrow.

No, not Westerland, but rather the East or South, Keitum or Rantum. It's not that clear yet, as you can see.

She wasn't when I met her. She had no computer on her own, but used the PC from her parents. Since we live together, she has to be, because I am ;)

The honeymoon will be special because two people in love will be together. It isn't really the place, but how you look at the situation. I hope that you will post some pictures, I imagine that the island is beautiful.

Good luck with finding another photographer. Hopefully a friend or relative can give a good recommendation.

i agree. according to some other threads the iPod is a sure way to pick up some chicks. those bride maids may be all over him with iPod, let alone a possible powerbook.

Everything went more or less well.

Only problems were:

- some relatives didn't find the way and almost missed the wedding
- the flower children went to the photographer (we found someone!) when we were still making photos in a park, didn't wait long enough and were gone when we arrived

It was a wonderful ceremony and a great party. I'm glad everything went this well.

Agreed. Can't believe you didn't think it would be as special just because of the location. Even a B&B in a small village could be nice if its your honeymoon. ;)
