My Google skills seem inadequate, as I can't find any SATA III controller cards which would work in a Mac Pro. There is this http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Newer%20Technology/MXPCIE6GS2/
but it's an eSATA card, and I'm hoping to find a card for internal connections, ideally four. Does anyone have any suggestions?
