I cant get windows 7 to install on my new i7, i got the new partition setup, and started the install, it when thru and copied all the files over, and then it did the restart, and just as the windows 7 logo comes up and starts to glow, the machine locks up, and then the screen goes black and never comes back, i have to hold the power button in to restart it, and it will just do the same thing over and over, till i go back to osx

anyone have an idea of what is going on? and what i can do about it?

Had the same issue on mine. This should fix it for you

Of course it involves deleting your partition and reinstalling it.

I have the same problem. Hope this fixes it.

I have exactly the same problem and I hope that this fixes it. I just completed my second install. The "blank screen" occures on the second reboot immediately where the Windows splash screen is taken down and the "Create User" screen goes up. Using this solution will be my 3rd install. I'll post the results later today.
