Issue with Minimizing

I am having a recent issue with my macbook, I use Airport Wireless..and when I minimize a window, it freezes half way and makes my info bar discolor, and the font disappears. Then I get a spinning wheel.

What do I do with this issue?

Please let me know.

Have you repaired permissions yet?

What does happen if you turn AirPort off?

What Mac and Mac OS X version do you use?

Does it happen with every window/application?

Have you taken a look at Activity Monitor while this happens?

I am not sure how to repair permissions.

Nothing changes when I turn airport off.

Mac Version 10.5.8
2GB or Ram
120 GB HD though only 20GB empty
2GHz Intel Core duo

Yes, it happens with every window, and sometimes they go blank white when they expand.

I have not looked at my activity monitor, but I am not doing may things at once. Just surfing the net.

That doesn't mean anything, the CPU can be used by some process running amok, that's why Activity Monitor is there for, to look what is going on.

So please go into Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor, select to SHOW ALL PROCESSES, sort by CPU usage and minimize a window on top of that, so you can look at Activity Monitor while t freezes.
Maybe it will give us a clue, or maybe it won't.

But also know, that 20GB free HDD space is not borderline small, but it is not much either for the system to breathe.

Maybe if you can move some of your less used files to an external HDD you might (I repeat: might) see an improvement.

^ those degrees are in Fahrenheit, not Celsius.
