If someone were to buy a base MP and later buy a 4870, could they use the 4870 as their main graphics card and use the 120 just to support 2 extra displays?

Will OSX automatically use the 4870 as the main one or do you have to put it in the first PCI slot?

The card that the screen is connected to Will always render the graphics. They can't cross-help each other
