I had a USB mouse and PS/2 Keyboard plugged into a Kensington dock in my room for use with my Early 2006 Macbook (2ghz Core Duo). Everything was going fine, the keyboard was working, and so was the mouse until i plugged in the AC adapter curious to see what would happen. My macbook gave me an error message, stating that the USB port was drawing too much power and needed to be deactivated. Fast forward a day, and the dock still works with other mice and keyboards but now with the original two. It is almost as if my MacBook is blocking these two specific devices, does anybody know a way to get them up and running again?

I have already tried resetting the PRAM, and i dont think that resetting the SMC would help me at all.

These just happen to be my favorite Mouse and Keyboard, so please help.
