I really don't think this is a tagging issue. In cover flow its showing a few albums twice. The songs aren't split between the two, but the album is just shown twice. This problem isn't duplicated in Itunes either. How do I fix this? I've tried deleteing and readding the cd but it still happens. Thanks.

Are you saying there are 2 copies of each song on the album in your library?
Where are you seeing the album twice - in cover flow on iTunes on your
computer, or on your iPod? Are you sure you are deleting both copies before
re-adding? Do both albums play?
I've seen 2 copies of the album art when the name of the album isn't
exactly the same - see if there is an extra character on the name. Also, I
have seen this happen when one song has a name in "artist" and another
song has a name in both "artist" and "album artist". Personally, I never put
anything in "album artist" unless it is a compilation.
I've spent way too many hours fixing these kinds of problems - I guess I
want perfection! ;^) If this bothers you, you may have to fiddle around a
bit - I've even re-converted songs to .mp3 to "fix" the ID3 tag.

It's in cover flow and the normal list, but not in Itunes. I've had itunes divide a single album up in to two before with what you've described above. This is totally different, this is two exact same copies of the same album, and its only happening on the ipod not in itunes.

I had some weirdness for awhile. A restore fixed it.
