System Requirements: Power Mac G3, G4, G4 Cube; iMac; PowerBook G3, G4; iBook; or eMac computer; at least 128MB of physical RAM and a built-in display or a display connected to an Apple-supplied video card.
Yes it says PC Compatible in the top, but the bottom clearly states these system req's.. so don't start the os x on intel crap!

Boy, Babya guy, and someone who didn't see the humor in the fact that for Apple to survive with Wintel OSX, they'd need to charge that much.
What fun!

$82,402.02 *($*%$#(?
Umm...somebody is pulling your leg. Macs aren't that expensive. I can get a Jaguar compatible system for $350 used, or $700 new if I shop around.

Yeah, it's pretty clearly a screwup in their inventory control system.
The price is the date it is supposed to be released. (8/24/02)

Check again, dog breath... :p :D
BTW, being a responsible ADULT, I sent the [in]compusa webmaster a message about the price FUBAR... it took them about 30 minutes to fix it. :p

If anything good came out of this overpricing, I think it made people really stop to think what Jaguar is worth to them.
$129 is nothing to pay compared to $80000. Let's go get it while it stays that low before they raise the price again!

It certainly worked on my wife! She saw it and said, "Now that's just crazy wasn't it supposed to be $820 or something like that?" I said, "No dear it's ONLy $129 and she said, "Oh, that's not to bad then!" hehe.
However she is a teacher and I we can probably get it for $69!
Don't be shocked that she thought it was $820 some of the educational software she sees and the school can buy costs in the $1000's
