The Waste
Hi all -- I'm having trouble getting an Airport Disk to mount on a secondary AEBS. Let me explain my setup:

  • AEBS #1: Main base station, running version 7.5, set to "Create a wireless network".
    [*]WD 1TB drive connected
  • AEBS #2: Secondary base station, running version 7.4.2, set to "Extend a wireless network".
    [*]Seagate 1.5TB drive connected

I've been successfully using the WD disk connected to my main airport for over a year. Today I tried to add the Seagate drive to extended airport and it does not auto-mount. Also, if I try to manually add the drive by trying to connect to server and typing in the IP address & drive name (afp://192.168.1.3/Office) I get a connection error saying that the server does not exist. I'm probably just missing something obvious, but I need some help. Pics for clicks below.
