Oooh, Snow Patrol. :) Lightbody makes great music, although the newest Snow Patrol album is a bit different....a bit harder. His music was for softies, and still is, but even moreso in the past. Ever heard of The Reindeer Section? Yeah, similar stuff by an indie Scottish supergroup comprised of members of the big indie bands, lead by Lightbody.
I haven't really discovered any new bands, but I guess Augie March is somewhat new to me. Sunset Studies is an amazing album.
I also have a new live album by someone named Paul Greene. Quite good. :)

I don't normally use ITMS just based on the fact that I can't seem to find a good amount of the bands that I really like on it. I'm big into more underground music so I actually have to scavenge these cd's out at questionable music stores haha.

His profile suggests he was probably in a day care center. Man I'm getting old.

I almost bought The Stills album, but couldn't tell if it was bland and so so or really good.
Is it good? I guess I should go preview it again.

If you can't tell which, it is probably VERY bland.

Lean Back by Terror Squad
It took a few times to get into (particularly because the first time I heard it on the radio, it was a live performance, uugh!). Now I know that this isn't like me, because Terror Squad is rap, and I'm very selective on rap music. I particularly hate the female rapper of the group though, and that throws off the quality of the song. Plus, it's better than that Outkast song that blanketed the country for a while.

the only band that i wouldn't have none if it weren't for itunes is probably The Cinematic Orchestra. Good trip hoppy jazz/electronic/ filmy music

Did you listen to the Everyday album, or their newer version of the same/similar album, "Man With The Movie Camera"? "Man With...." has all the songs from "Everyday", but remixed. Anyway, I haven't heard "Man With...." entirely, but what I heard sounded quite good. :)
I wish I had iTMS. :(

actually, i found this group by browsing on my shared playlists at school one day, (i was inclass actually, luckily i go to a music school and we where using headphones anyway)... and i came across Channel 1 Suite, from the album motion, thats a damn good song and it got me into them.

Man With A Movie Camera actually sounds better to me from the first 8 songs I heard, but I guess I'd say that about any album that I haven't grown a bit tired of. ;)
I first heard of them through the www.Ninjatunes.net website.
