Not much sticks out at me right now. Maybe Geodefense and Harbor Master or Flight Control. Depends on the price of those two.

I have no problem buying the games again for the iPad, but it does suck that I just bought Plants vs Zombies a week ago and Real Racing like 3 weeks ago. still, I can't wait to play them on the iPad.

TUAW has a video preview of Ambrosia's Mondo Solitaire (http://www.tuaw.com/2010/03/28/first-look-ambrosias-mondo-solitaire-and-aki-mahjong-for-ipad/) which I think looks like a lot of fun. My mom is a little disappointed that Bejeweled is not on that list, yet.

Not even Labyrinth HD, NOVA, Plants vs Zombies HD, Real Racing HD, or Zen Bound 2? Those are all instant buys for me.

Crap--its going to be like July 11th 2008 all over again. I'm going to spend way too much money. These and iWork, Brushes, etc. Good week to be an iPad dev!

The following article is reprinted from GamePro.com. For more gaming news, visit GamePro’s news page.

The listings for the first batch of iPad games have popped up on iPhone analysis site App Annie, finally confirming what most of us expected—yes, some games will be more expensive on the iPad.

We’ve researched most of the games on the site and have found the following price changes. Of course, this being the App Store, expect some of these prices to shift in the coming days and weeks.

Ammoin: $1 on iPhone, $1 on iPad
Bugdom 2: $4 on iPhone, $10 on iPad
Cro-Mag Rally: $3 on iPhone, $10 on iPad
Enigmo: $3 on iPhone, $10 on iPad
Flight Control: $1 on iPhone, $5 on iPad
Labyrinth: $5 on iPhone, $8 on iPad
Nanosaur 2: $4 on iPhone, $10 on iPad
Otto Matic: $4 on iPhone, $10 on iPad
PuzzleManiak: $1 on iPhone, $1 on iPad
Sparkle: $3 on iPhone, $3 on iPad
As you can see, while some games have more than doubled in price, others have remained exactly the same. If a company put in a lot of effort to re-appropriate the game for a new platform with a smaller userbase, are you okay with them charging more?

I found some of the useful links here, free iPad games that are available on iTunes

There are few useful reviews available on this site about some quality premium iPad games, including Asphalt 5.

I purchased Osmos HD (http://www.148apps.com/reviews/osmos-ipad-indepth-review/) yesterday and I've fallen in love with it's zen vibe - - if anyone is interested in a relaxing puzzle game with a matching soundtrack, then Osmos might be just the ticket. Heck, if it's still too fast for you, it's just takes a swipe of the finger to slow down time...

My new favorite iPad game (at least until Spider: Bryce Manor HD (http://n4g.com/news/557408/touch-arcade-spider-bryce-manor-hd-for-the-ipad-hands-on-preview-with-video) comes out later this month).

5 out of 5.

Modern Conflict is great

Jul 11, 2010, 05:28 PM
Geometry Wars Touch should be on that list. Certainly the best top-down shooter of it's kind.

Modern Conflict is great

I haven't tried the demo, but how does it compare with Lux DLX or Strategery? I like the simple abstract nature of those strategy games.

Osmos HD is a GREAT game. WELL worth the $5.

Sort of... probably closer to Galcon though.
