Hi,

I was wondering how much would i get for my old G1 imac(you know, when the imac only came in bondi blue)? It works perfect, and comes with original box. Any help would be great.

I sold a bondi-blue 233MHz iMac with 192MB RAM and original keyboard/mouse (no box) for $300 (that includes the shipping cost) about a year ago. I sold it on eBay. I'm not sure how much you can get for those now but with the original box and a decent price I'm sure it will sale quick (assuming it is in good condition).

WTF!

How do they drop a computer with a built in carrying handle!

And why the heck weren't you carrying the computer yourself! I wouldn't let the movers carry any expensive electronics that were'nt safely boxed up, and even then I wouldn't let them carry my Mac!

I agree, when I move, my Macs are all tightly tucked away in the back of my shuttle. Packed by myself.

oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. Damn movers can't be trusted with anything valuable...or anything at all for that matter :(

My Macs always get to ride shotgun in my car when I move.

Mine too. With a seatbelt on.

If I had a 2-seater car, the girlfriend would have to get the bus :D

Are the movers insured? They should at least cover the value of the computer. Last I checked, a new iMac runs... let's see, I think I want the 20-incher, with airport and the bluetooth keyboard and mouse... and of course we'll need final cut pro and keynote preinstalled... oh, heck, just give me three grand and we'll call it even ;)
