I'm planning the renovation of my apartment, and am thinking of hardwiring Cat 5 around the place, to faciliate sharing of DSL, printers etc. I am currently using an Airport Extreme router to share everything wirelessly (have one PB and a Vaio notebook), but plan to add an iMac and a G5 to the mix, which I'd like to hardwire connect to the network.

Can an Airport router be hooked up to a hub/switch, to provide DSL access to both wired and wireless devices? If not, what is the best solution?

Thanks

Yes... They can daisy chain together. No more than 3 routers in the daisy chain. Plug the wired router into one of the 4 ports on the Airport. It will use DHCP to get an IP and provide IP's to machines connected to it. You may need to make sure the range of IP's don't overlap between the two routers.
