firefox - any way to save specific file types to destination folders?

ok, say i download a jpeg or mp3 or whatever. is there a way so that when i download the file, it goes straight to a specific folder that i determine beforehand? i've seen chrome do this

Go to Preferences and look near the bottom of the window. You can change the folder / location downloaded files will be saved to.

I think he's looking for a way to always save specific file types to specific folders... ie - Mp3 to an Mp3 folder, pages file to a Pages folder etc...

I too would like to know if this is possible...

Nope. If that was an option, it would be shown in the same dialog box.
