my macbook pro keeps spitting out dvd lens cleaner

I just bought a Memorex DVD Lens Cleaner from Frys and when i pop it in it just makes a little bit of sound and pops it back out, i googled it and didnt really find anything... I will keep looking on google, but in the mean time maybe somebody knows a solution?
 
Isn't that what the cleaners are supposed to do? All they need to do is get spun around about 5 times. The Macbook spins it around about this much each time you put it in. It might also not be a good idea to use those on slot loading drives.
