I'm looking for a external keyboard for my PB, and there are a lot of choices out there. What suggestions would you make? How do the Apple keyboards (BT, wired) compare?

when i finally got around to getting an external keyboard for my laptop i got this (http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=309746&pfp=BROWSE) from compusa. it's really comfortable, even moreso than the apple pro one and is pretty tough. only 20 bucks too

That is an odd keyboard, designed for traveling people, who have 12 inch or smaller laptops. I have both the Apple aired and Apple Bt keyboards, but i like the Wired  better. The Bt model is too slow for my typing speed, and therefore, i need a faster Keyboard. If you can stand the having the windblows logo on your Keyboard, look at a Logitech, wired or Bt Here (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/productlist/US/EN,CRID=517) They seem to have the Mac and PC 'boards together.

well i definitely cannot go back to a regular keyboard after this powerbook keyboard..........i like it much much better..............don't ask me why it just feels more confortable...than the other one.....................it's softer, the keys are closer which in my case it's a good thing since i have short fingers.........over all ..i really like it.....

I've been using an apple bt keyboard for the past 6 months now. I completely disagree with the comment about the fact that it is too slow. Even if you type a whole load of jibberish the keyboard never lags behind! I'm using it with the D-Link bt module supported by apple with a powerbook G4 (titanium). No problems whatsoever
Great keyboard!

i've been using the bluetooth Logitech keyboard, mainly because I am used to typing on Logitech's. The main disadvantage is no "true" Mac OSX support, so therefore the command key isn't where it should be, but instead it is the Windows key. But a very nice keyboard nonetheless if Bluetooth is something you're looking into.

Matias Tactile Pro. Best keyboard. Period. Designed the way Apple USED to design their extended keyboards. It is pricey, but comes with a 5 year warranty so well worth the investment.

I got the Logitech Internet Keyboard for free next to a dumpster :D . I know I am cheap, but it works. I like it except some of the keys are sticky, but I think that is the fault of the previous owner, not Logitech.

i have the apple BT keyboard with my 12" PB, its fantastic, i loved the keyboard on the book at first, but after a LOT of typing it just hurt, thats why i sprung for an external, this one is comfortable and has great response, the battery life is awesome! especially if you turn it off whenever you dont use it. plus, its one less thing that i have to hook up to my powerbook :D
