the ibook app and ipod touch

will the ibook app work with a ipod touch because im not getting a ipad and i want books for my ipod touch and i dont want to go through amazon i like itunes and its one stop shopiness

I hope at some point Apple releases the iBook app for the iPhone/iPod Touch. I understand right now their focus is selling as many iPads as possible, but down the road, when the iPad hype has died down, Apple would be foolish not to open the iBookstore up to iPhone/iPod Touch users. Amazon offers it right now through their app, with the ability to sync bookmarks back to the Kindle.

May be an old thread but it will be released in iOS 4 for all platforms that support it.
