macOS How to learn C++

Simply enough, I want to learn C++. I tried just figuring it out like i did with HTML and Applescript, but it just doesn't work. I don't know anything about it, and I wanted to know if there are any good, simple, absolute beginner websites to learn C++.
 
Check out "Thinking In C" a downloadable book and seminar. 'C' being a subset of 'C++' this is a good place to start and contains a lead-in to 'C++".

Once done with this go on to the downloadable "Thinking In C++, volumes 1 and 2".
