Safari and Quicktime problem

Hi hope someone can help.

When watching video clips that use quicktime within safari i am getting no sound at all - I have never had this problem before it just suddenly started happening today.

I know the clips do have sound cause they work in Firefox.

Any ideas what I may have done to loose the sound through safari?
