6 Icon Dock? Anyone Else Notice or Am I just Slow?

As Ive been playing around with my iPad for a little while now, I decided to re-arrange the dock and realized that 6 icons we are able to be moved onto it, whether in portrait or landscape mode. Was this posted anywhere else? Or am I the last to figure this out?

I noticed that today myself. I'm honestly surprised of this feature, pleasantly surprised.
