iPod touch Virtual keyboard disappears when entering iTunes credentials

Any ideas as to why? Or any fixes? If it matters- my iPod touch 3rd gen is jailbroken. Though, I don't see how that'd be the problem- I'd had it jailbroken since I bought it and it never gave me this issue.
