Hey everyone,

I friend is offering me a powermac g4 400-450mhz computer with 17" apple monitor, 384mb ram, 10 or 20gb hd, DVD, keyboard, pro mouse. Its either the AGP or PCI but i'm pretty sure its the PCI model. How much should i pay for this computer? If I can get a good price for it I'll buy it.

Thanks for replying!

I paid about $1700 3 months ago for a (used) dual processor 1.25GHz PowerMac G4 with 1GB of RAM and an 80GB hard drive. I considered that to be a good price. Shopping around I found very similar prices for very similar systems all over the place.

If I were you, I'd check the completed auctions on Ebay to see what similarly equipped systems are going for and expect to pay around that amount.

Yes on ebay the prices are around $300-$400 without monitor- What should I offer her though
