So i was researching wether to get the 500GB time capsule from apple.. or just buy a new hard drive and get someone to install it...?

I heard its possible.. here http://www.anandtech.com/show/2445/13

but that looks flippin risky so i'd prefer a tech to do it.

What kind of HD would i look for?

any links would be helpful.

No. You need a 1.8" drive. The largest 1.8" drive so far is 240GB and I don't believe that is in production yet :)

I link an SSD of 1.8" form factor (http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-1-8-ZIF-ZIF2-SSD-HD-128GB-Apple-MacBook-Air-U1010_W0QQitemZ260498284122QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3ca6e85e5a).
