Please help: annoying keyboard problem

Hey ya all
I have this very annyoing problem with my keyboard for a few days now and can't solve it:
You know how you can press the left/right arrow buttons on the keyboard and the cursor would go left/right until the button is released again?!! Well, for a few days now, when I press the arrow buttons, the cursor would move only one position, no matter how long I keep the arrow butten pressed.
Anyone know how to change that back to normal???

Not sure if this is the answer, but have you tried checking under System Preferences the Keyboard and Mouse setting? If your Delay Until Repeat is turned off, then that could be your problem.

Thanks a lot, now I just have to figure out how I got that changed to this strange setting in the first place...
