1g ipod touch not syncing with imac

Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can help.

I have a 1st gen ipod touch. I am syncing it to two different computers: calendar only on an iMac, and everything else on a MacBook.

I was last able to sync to the iMac (running Tiger) last Wednesday. Since then, when I plug the ipod touch into the USB port, nothing happens. iTunes does not see it, and it does not sync. I have no problems syncing with the MacBook (running Leopard).

I thought it may have been the iTunes update pushed after the iPad release, but both computers updated, and only one is having the issue. Any ideas?

Did you try restarting the iMac? Some people have reported problems with iTunes not seeing an iPod until the computer has been restarted a few times.
