EU ipad - US apps - EU giftcard?

So I was wondering when we get our iPads here in Europe, would it be possible to download American apps, with an American iTunes account with an European itunes gift card? I mean comon, we all know US apps are better :o Just wondering if this would be possible. I don't have a CC either.

No, you have to use a U.S. gift card.

Ah that sucks. I might try to get an US gift card then.
While rethinking, what apps are better than EU ones? Except for netflix and ABC?
