Will a stick of ram from a ddr powermac work in my imac 700?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately no.

The G3 iMac 700 (all slotloading iMacs) uses PC 100 SDRAM, and not the DDRAM of a recent PowerMac.

PC 133 RAM usually does work well in a PC 100 slot, and are cheap nowadays 🙂

BTW, I like the name of your home town 😀

Haha, I'm actually going to a liberal arts college here. Our mascot is the "Flying Dutchman"

That's nice! Too bad I can't fly, I could have been your mascot 😀
