Has a bug that will not export .m3u & .pls files to itunes for streaming? It works on safari.
I'm having a huge battle trying to stream a simple MP3 for OSX. Its driving me insane and I can not find a solution. Would anyone have any ideas?

Control-Click the link for the m3u or pls file and save it to the desktop, or your "temp" folder. Then Double click on it, and it should open in iTunes. Other wise, you can take the url for the file and enter it into the "Open Stream" option in the Advanced Menu.

Well, the thing is, I need to stream it for the general public from my website. I don't have a problem viewing it myself, but I do not want my audience to have the direct link to the mp3 (which is what happens in IE and not safari). Know what I mean?

Okay, I figured it out. It was the MIME settings on my server. BAhh..so much wasted time :)

Don't you hate when it's something like that, wasting a ton of time trying to find a solution... Then it turns out you've done everything right and it's something screwy on the server.
Glad to hear you got it sorted out.

Yeah, it sucks. I'm just glad I found a solution. My client was worried that his music wasn't being played on OS X machines. His host has been a HUGE issue from the beggining, and it just keeps costing him more money for me to fix problems then to switch hosting. Oh Well.
