DEJOware is pleased to announce the availability of [app]a.k.a.[/app] v2.0. This update adds support for the iPad.

a.k.a. is the very popular and free name generator app for your iPhone or iPod touch. Based on a few bits of personal info, a.k.a. is able to generate a new name for you or your friends/family in the following categories:

a.k.a. Version 2.1 Released

Version 2.1 of [app]a.k.a.[/app] has been approved and is now available for download / upgrade. This version adds the serving of ads on the iPad-side of things but also includes an option to purchase an upgrade to an ad-free version which, as a bonus feature, includes a 'lanyard' view that presents the generated name in a familiar "HELLO my name is" label. (This view is easily dismissed with a double-tap.)

iOS4-ready a.k.a. Version 2.1.2 Released

This update has been tested and qualified on iOS 4, as well as adding the ability to copy the generated name to the clipboard (tap and hold the generated name to bring up the Copy menu option). Updated AdMob ads go along for the ride.

a.k.a. Version 2.1.3 Now Available

This update fixes a bug that was causing a missing close button for Race Picker of Fantasy names from appearing for 3.x users. It also serves Apple's iAds for users on iOS 4.0.

a.k.a. Version 2.1.4 Now Available

This update adds a Restore Upgrade option (accessible via the Info page); if you purchased the AdFree Upgrade on another device or have deleted your app after purchasing the upgrade, you can use this capability to more easily restore your AdFree Upgrade. It also includes some minor bug fixes and upgraded ad serving.

Remember: a.k.a. is a universal app, so it runs on your iPhone or iPod touch as well.
