Screen dead

dont laugh but i just dropped my ipod touch in the toilet and i got it to work except the screen is dead (can see but no touch) its a second gen and i need help please???
all the buttons work but i need to know if i can get the screen replaced or if i need a need a new ipod (hopefully not cuz im broke)

How long has it had to dry? You should let it dry for a day or two before you try and use it again.

Turn it off and put it in a bag uncooked rice for at least 2 days. DO NOT turn it on during that time.
