Why a magazine and not a website, though? Unlike a clunky desktop or even laptop computer, it is inexpensive, accessible, tactile and above all mobile - a piece of old technology that harmonises with the cutting edge of the new listening experience. No wonder my board of directors said yes.
Why a magazine?
Well because printed media is easier to read. A CD maybe easy to burn or a track easy to download but there are still millions of people out there who prefer to read the printed word in a stylish magazine each week or each month.
and of course every new music orientated magazine out there wants to hop onto the iPod hyped bandwagon to increase their sales and readership.
It will be interesting to watch the success or failure of the magazine.

p.s. The album will never die, it's just that the single should make a very strong comeback. There are plenty of artists that should be releasing singles-only because most of their albums are filler. Others, however, would not be fully expressed/appreciated without the full album.
