eBay sellers are making lots of money.

HK sellers are making lots of money.

China sellers are making lots of money.

Buyers are happy as they are among the first few who own iPad in their country

Now or the day it came out? eBay auctions for international buyers are at the point where sellers wont be making an profit after bay and pay pal fees.
 
theres a lot of completed sales on ebay for 32gb ipads inthe range of $690-$720 with free shipping if you ask me after ebay and paypal fees there is not much of a profit. others are lucky but some are not.

example: $599 + tax= $640+/- plus ebay $23 final value fee = $663 then you sell it for $700 on ebay. $700-3% paypal fee = $679- free shipping (most of the auction I saw had free shipping) lets say the sale was international, shipping is about $25 minimum, $679-$25= $654.00

You paid $640 for the ipad, you sold it for $700 on ebay after fees and shipping you end up with a $14.00 profit and if you drove to the post office with the gas prices right now lets say you used $4.00 of gas. You end up with a cool profit of $10.00

Not worth it unless youre lucky, iphone sales are another story, I do make huge profit out of them
 
If you sell an iPad for $700 on ebay (after paying $599) You're left with only $628. Then with sales tax and shipping, you're easily losing money.
 
I actually lost about $28 dollars between selling two ipad's internationally after taking into account shipping, eBay and paypal's fees. Oh well, I look at it as I did someone a favor by getting them laptops. 🙂

They are cutting their legs by raising the fees, Im making more money selling in the classified section of the diiferent forums I enter.

plus ebay and paypal do crap about sellers protection.
