Delivery status is Ships: 5 - 7 business days: when should I expect it?

Hi,

just ordered an Ipad as a present for my GF's birthday. 🙂

Status right now:
Ships: 5 - 7 business days
Delivers: Apr 20 - Apr 26

How are my changes to have it at the latest on 23rd? 😕 I need it for her birthday that evening.

Someone got a clue?
 
All I can tell you is that anecdotally Apple seems to hit the earlier part of their delivery window often. But the factual answer is that no one can tell you what'll happen until you get your tracking information.

Yeah, it will ship Monday or Tuesday and take 3 days to get there (I hope).

Still waiting, still tells me Not shipped yet!
 
My order for a 16GB went through on the 12th. Still hasn't shipped. I called Apple and asked for free 2 day shipping. They accepted. I also need mine by the 22nd. I guess they saw the Macs I have bought in the past from them and did me a favor. They said it would be delivered by the 22nd, no later.

I placed an order for a 32GB iPad on the 10th and since it hadn't shipped yet, I called today to see if I could also get the priority shipping.

I was told the only shipping method for iPads at the moment is their Standard Ground.
