I've had my Apple Studio Display (17" non-Alu) for about 18 months, with no problems at all.
My keyboard is plugged into the USB port on the back of the display, and has worked fine.
But, this morning, I turned on my computer and found my keyboard (and of course mouse) weren't working. I fiddled around but couldn't sort it.
Then, I tried plugging the keyboard straight into the USB port on the front of my G5 (1.8) and it worked fine. So it seems to be a problem with the USB ports (neither of them work) on the back of the monitor.
I've done the usual restarting a few times/trying other things in the ports etc. but it's no good. I've not changed anything since yesterday to stop it from working!
What can I do??
Hope someone can help...
Mark
