Brother HL-1230 on OS X 10.6

Since upgrading to 10.6 I haven't been able to print using my Brother HL-1230 printer.
On 10.3-10.5 I could use the HL-1240 CUPS drivers, but not on 10.6.

Is there anyone out there who has got this printer model working on Snow Leopard?
