I just got my machine today after what seemed to be 1 long week of waiting.

imac 27 inch, Intel i7, 8 GB of ram and i'm loving it.

So far i downloaded Firefox, VUZE, MS office 2008.

This machine is VERY impressive and I am very glad of my purchase.

When I went to the store to pick her up, I made sure that there was no apparent damage on the screen.

Can anyone tell me what week production my imac is? How do I decode the Serial Number?

I actually got my replacement just today as well.
So far, I LOVE IT. Much better than my loud old one. I still got some yellowing going on, but it's barely even there, unless you look for it.
I'm gonna wait til Apple actually fix the issue.


Anyway, go to appleserialnumberinfo.com and enter it in there, and everything should come up

Turns out that my machine was made this month(April) in the USA. Honestly, I am quite surprised.

Yup, working on a new trend! Even when playing around with the lighting on the camera, it was too dark, got lazy and said "F it!".
