I purchased mini VGA to VGA convertor from some website (dinodirect.com) in hopes to hook it up to my sharp aquous 32" flatscreen LCD TV. When I hook it up to the VGA on my tv it seems as though the laptop recognizes the connection, but not "mirror" image, or any image at all appears on the tv.
Am I missing a setting on the laptop?
I also purchased a VGA to HDMI converter cable in case VGA was the problem with the image not showing. That might be extreme though...Laptop -> mini VGA to VGA -> VGA to HDMI -> TV.
Please let me know any settings on the laptop, anything I may have overlooked. I'm pretty computer friendly but I guess I could have missed something. Thanks.
