Handbreak M4v to IPod

After using HANDBREAK to convert DVD to m4v format, am able to put into ITunes and even watch on my MAC- BUT can't get any IPod to recognize movie or move to IPod. Any suggestions?

Which preset did you use? The "default" preset may not work well for iPods. There are different presets for iPods and iPhones; you may want to re-Handbrake the DVDs using those presets.
