Isight and Ichat

So.... i have an isight, my brother as an isight and we want to do a video conference. I click the name and then click the little video camera thing it says please wait, he clicks ok...its then sas that he didn't respond when he did. So then he tryed setting it up and it said that he didn't respond to his own invite......
We think it has something to do with the firewalls at one of your schools. We tryed doing steps 1-8 here.

But it doesn't work...

And both camera work because we see a preview of ourselves..
I don't think it matters but I got my pb and he got a 2 day old 2.5 G5...so i think our system can support it...... :D

i feel your pain
i can conference back home when im not behind my uni firewall
but once i enter uni the firewall kicks in, file transfers are gone and video conference capability; u could ask the admin for help

Not sure if it will work for you. But, behind our firewall here, clicking on the button gets us nowhere but initiating a video chat from the video menu works fine.

I'm guessing The Past mean select Buddies/Invite to Video Chat.
