Hi,
i have had a look around and found plenty of threads on upgrades... no quite relating to where you cen get stuff in australia.
i have the mac in my sig... and it is getting a little old now for what i am doing (mostly adobe cs suite and quark) most of the time working with large files (its unusal for a job to come in on 1 cd (im a grand format digital printer).
My options are buy a cheap G4 dual 800+ OR upgrade the current mac if i upgrade the mac i am wondering where is a good place to get;
a) single proccesor upgrade cards (:-( my mac dont do dual) around the 1.2gig mark (i have had bad experence with macsense)
b) video card - around the 9000pro or even 9200 pci? around the $100 mark
wondering if any options on this.
Or anybody has any video cards sitting around which i could buy or even better a decent mac they would like to sell.
BTW i dont have a credit card so all transactions for upgrades would have to be done by direct debit.
