I love it. I told my wife all my old computer junk would be worth something some day. I have an old IIe maybe I should post that----NOT

QUESTION...

I am an owner of an original Apple-I Operation Manual, just like the one seen in this auction (next to the computer). How much would that be worth?

It is complete, typewritten, and in plastic covers. It is yellowed, and looks very authentic.

Well probhaly about 50 to 100 I would buy your book but i don't have an A1 or I would, it would be hard to find someone with an Apple 1, I woudl consider it since I can't affort the computer:).

if i were sj i'd have one of every apple product and prototype in my basement, then again i'm not sj.

Is the Apple 1 Apple's first computer? As in before Macintosh? That's pretty cool. But I only see the logic board - where's the computer?

That's how it came, just a motherboard. you could build your own case out of wood or something like that.

this was apple's first computer. Apple did a lot before the macintosh remember. the apple II, apple III and Lisa were all pre-macintosh. apple I was built in their garage. it wasn't the first computer available, but it was one fo the first you could do anything with that was in any way affordable (it wasn't cheap). They only sold probably a couple hundred of them if that. check out apple-history.com, they've got a page on it

If you are interested in History there was a pretty good TV movie made about that peorid. It talks shows the history of Apple's and Microsoft's beginings.

I can not recall the name but some one else will remember it.

The Apple 1 was the first concept of a personal computer (excluding maybe the Altar). After (or durring) the II became popular there were several other personal computer choices:

Remember things like the , Osborn (nice 2" display), C64, Atary 400, 800. There was other choices.

Ah yes, it was TNT's "The Pirates of Silicon Valley", based on the book "Fire in the Valley"

Oh jeez, there's some nostalgia: The Osbourne, the world's first "portable" computer that weighed almost 35 pounds and was almost the size of a microwave oven; the C64, which would accept Atari cartridges and joysticks; and the Atari 400 and 800 advertised by Alan Alda,

Wow. We've come a long way.

No bids  That sucks.

for a starting bid of 16,500 its no wonder... the only people who would reeeealy want these are muesums and extremly rich collectors. And as he said the museam already has one and the rich dude is still drooling at his shiny new G5 :D

Well I would surmise so, but if I had it I would buy it, and I shall let you all know if he relists with a $1 bid price with NR... Well it would be nice:)...
